How much does app maintenance cost in India?
The standard basis is 15% to 20% of the original build cost every year. For a ₹3,00,000 app that is roughly ₹45,000 to ₹60,000 a year. We start at ₹4,000 a month for a small, stable app and quote larger ones after reading the code, because a well-built app costs far less to keep alive than a rushed one.
What happens if I do not maintain the app?
It works until it does not. The usual sequence is a store warning about target SDK, then the app becoming unlisted for new installs, then an OS update breaking something visible. None of that is sudden, but all of it arrives on someone else’s timetable.
Will you maintain an app another company built?
Usually, but we read the code first and tell you what we find. Sometimes the honest answer is that maintaining it costs more than rebuilding the parts that hurt, and we would rather say that at the start than discover it at your expense in month four.
Does this include new features?
It includes a set number of hours a month for small changes. Anything that needs design or a new screen is quoted as a project, because bundling feature work into a maintenance fee is how retainers quietly become open-ended.
